Join the Swannanoa Valley Museum on Friday, July 9th between 5:00pm- 9:00pm for a reception with a raffle and refreshments! The exhibit celebrates the 100th anniversary of the construction of the Black Mountain Firehouse (which now houses the Swannanoa Valley Museum) by exploring the history of Black Mountain’s Fire Department and the culture and practices of firefighting in the early to mid-20th century. There will be light refreshments provided and a raffle.
